Our Story

At Dayo Cafe, our story is about bringing together everything Johnny, Jerrika, and Kristyn love about food - Filipino flavours mixed with Southeast Asian spice and Mediterranean flair. After spending years working on cruise ships and in several well-known restaurants around the Tweed Coast, we knew we wanted to create something personal and real in a place like Tweed Heads. Our menu reflects this fusion of cultures, from our spicy Longganisa scrambles to K-POP Chicken Waffles and Strawberry Matcha French Toast, all made with fresh, local ingredients.

For us, it's about more than just making great food; it's about sharing what we love with the community and creating a space where everyone feels welcome and leaves with a smile.
